Why parents take naps...

Last night we went to a volunteer dinner at one of the long term volunteer’s house. She has had volunteers over every Friday night for so many years. It is cool to be a part of that! We had a great time and got to try a lot of food that we don’t know how to order in the markets. YUM! We have actually been very social these past few days thanks to all of the volunteers. There is a man named Joe who has been a volunteer at Agape for a long time. He took us to a movie the other night, which was so fun. It was nice to be able to go somewhere without having to worry about transportation, language, and everything else! Thanks Joe for taking us, and thank you for not making fun of Taylor and I stuffing our faces with large popcorns and large cokes. You rock.

We worked an 8-5 shift today! It was a full day of playing and laughing of course. The kids have so much energy! We actually had the conversation today about how we used to wonder why our parents wanted to take naps. We now know why. In the afternoon, we all three shifted in and out of the room with the kids who have fever. STILL! Let’s lift them up in prayer. They have to be so bored! One of the kids up there is an older boy who is going stir crazy, so I gave him my camera and let him loose for 10 minutes. He took about 400 pictures! Some of them are really good! I think I will continue to do that with him.
Here are a few...

While I was upstairs, Taylor and Kirstyn were down with the kids who were taking karate lessons. They really loved watching it. 1. The kids were so serious about it. 2. The instructor was really cute. Haha! Kirstyn snapped a few shots of him.

The kids also showcased some of their brake dancing skills. It was really impressive! I will try to upload some videos soon of their skills.

We had quite the adventure going to the grocery store after work today. We rode our bikes really far again in 5 o clock traffic. We parked our bikes and walked through an outdoor mall to get there. When we went to pay, I realized my wallet was in my bike basket. OOPS! Well, I sprinted like a freak through people to get back to my bike...and my wallet. Thank you Jesus! (I won’t do it again mom and dad...and Tyler) Then we tried to cram 6 bags of groceries into our tiny bike baskets. We rode home. In the rain. In the traffic. Holding groceries. So fun!!

CREATURE UPDATE: Taylor (Haha of course) now has 57 mosquito & ant bites. The number just keeps growing!

Here are the pictures of the kids we got today. They are beautiful beautiful beautiful little people! Pick one and say a quick prayer!

We found a mini-Kirstyn who is artsy and likes to play in the dirt!

Today we played hard and now we are going to crash hard. Blessings to you guys!
